Reely is built to work primarily on your device. Your movie library is yours — it lives locally, not on a server somewhere.

What we collect

Your movie library

Movies you mark as watched, add to your watchlist, rate, and your app preferences are stored locally on your device. This information is never shared with Reely.

Anonymous analytics

To understand how Reely is used and improve the app over time, we collect anonymous usage information via PostHog. This may include:

• Features used within the app
• Anonymous interaction events — for example, opening Quick Fill or marking a movie as watched
• App version and device type
• Performance and diagnostic information

This information is used solely to improve Reely's functionality, reliability, and experience. It cannot be traced back to you.

What we don't collect

Reely will never:

• Require you to create an account
• Collect your name or email address
• Sell your personal information
• Use analytics for advertising or marketing
• Track your activity across other apps or websites

Data sharing

No personal information is sold or shared with advertisers. Anonymous analytics data may be processed by PostHog exclusively to help improve the app.

Third-party services

Reely uses The Movie Database (TMDB) for movie posters, metadata, and related information. Reely is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Reely also uses PostHog for anonymous analytics.

Data security

Because your movie library and preferences are stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over your data. While reasonable measures are taken to protect any analytics information collected, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children's privacy

Reely is not intended to collect personal information from children.
